Before registering, read the Interlibrary Loan FAQ which will give you important information about the Interlibrary Loan program and the ILLiad request system at the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library.
To request an item through Interlibrary Loan (ILL), you must first identify yourself to the library's ILLiad system. (ILLiad is the online request system used to borrow and lend library materials between libraries.) To register you need to fill out an online registration form using your web browser. Registration has three purposes:
During registration, you will be asked to choose a Username and Password. You will use this Username and Password when logging on to the ILLiad system in the future.
Username Choose anything you like, such as your name, abbreviations, or an alphanumeric code. Your username will need to be at least 5 characters and can be up to 40 characters.
Password We recommend that you follow good security practice and choose a password that is different from those you use to access other systems. ILLiad will encrypt your password, so it will remain secure. Only you will know your password. (Interlibrary Loan staff can reset your password if you forget it.) Your password will need to be at least 5 characters and can be up to 14 characters.
